For two evenings, the 42nd annual Christmas in the Adobes opens historic adobes across Old Monterey, with luminarias, holiday decorations, music, refreshments, and docents in period dress. Tickets are required (youth 17 and under are free), and online buyers pick up wristbands at a will-call location. It is about 5 minutes from Stargazer Hotel.
